Book Donations - for families affected by death of parent/s due to elephants
 
   

•

2009 – School books are being donated to 130 children for the use in 2010 in 11 districts.
   
• 2008 – School books were donated to 106 children (of 64 families) for the use in 2009 in 8 districts, namely Anuradhapura, Puttalam, Polonnaruwa, Moneragala, Hambantota, Ratnapura and Kurunegala districts.
   
• 2007 - Donated school books to 72 children of 60 families affected by death of parents due to elephants. These children were from families from 8 districts, namely Anuradhapura, Ampara, Puttalam, Polonnaruwa, Kurunegala, Hambantota, Moneragala and Ratnapura.
   
 
 
   
 

 

Construction of Houses
 
   
• The Construction of a house for K. B. Leelawathi, wife of the victim No 2 of Anuradhapura District Support to Families page has been completed.
   
• The construction a house for K. G. Ramya Lalani, in Suriyawewa, wife of the victim No 9 of Hambantota District Support to Families page has been completed.
